The Eye Behind MOTIVE.
Laura Beaver found her way back from addiction through a raw prayer at a stoplight in September 2016, rebuilt who she always was, and co-founded MOTIVE to help others feel what she found on the other side.
Meet Laura
Co-Founder. She Found Her Way Back.
Co-Founder, MOTIVE · Visual Storyteller · In Recovery Since 2016
Laura lost her identity before she ever found her purpose. Addiction took her smile, her confidence, and years of her life she does not get back. What brought her back was not a program or a plan. It was a single honest prayer at a stoplight in September 2016, and the years of real, unglamorous work that followed it.
What she carries now is not a story she hides from. It is the thing she leads with. Openness. Curiosity. The belief that the parts of yourself you tried hardest to shrink are usually the parts worth keeping.
She co-founded MOTIVE because she knows what it costs to rebuild a life from nothing, and she believes the road there is wider when more people walk it together.
Today, Laura is the eye of MOTIVE. She captures the world the brand lives in, the road, the trail, the real moments between the milestones. If MOTIVE has a visual voice, it is hers.
"I didn't need to fix the things people were drawn to. I needed to own them."
What Laura Leads
The Visual World of MOTIVE.
Laura is the lens behind every road MOTIVE travels. The photography, the imagery, the visual storytelling that makes the brand feel like a real life being lived rather than a product being sold. She does not just document what MOTIVE does. She shows what it feels like.
The Whole Thing
There Is More to This Story.
The snapshot is the short version. The full story holds the rest. The before, the breaking point, the prayer, the rebuild, and the woman who came out of all of it stronger than the one who went in.
